Hi, I'm Ciela! My floral design work is informed by my endless curiosity about flowers and plants: their color, shape, movement, and place in our ecosystem. Whether here in Seattle, back home in Alaska, farming in the foothills of the Rockies, or traveling, I am always seeking out new inspiration from nature. In all my artistic pursuits -- including floral design, dance, pottery, fabric arts, and painting -- I am endlessly enchanted by the way creating brings us into the present moment.

 

These are what I want to bring to every design: the delight of a single perfect bloom, and the reverence for the huge natural systems that make them possible.
